Federal Tire welcomed drift legend Keiichi Tsuchiya to its high-tech tire factory and pledged future collaboration that would broaden and deepen cooperation in drifting tires and racing events.
With over two-decade experience in PCR tires and wide accolades of the 595 legacy along the way, the company is eager to escalate to the next level with the transformation to Industry 4.0 for smart manufacturing. Tsuchiya, accompanied by Federal Tire Chairman, Shu Jam Ma, viewed Federal's latest ultra-modem tire production lines in Guanyin Industrial Park, Taiwan and witnessed in person the highly automated manufacturing power, accuracy, and efficiency.
The factory visit proved a tremendous success as Tsuchiya was deeply impressed with both the quality of the facility and Federal's latest 595 RS-RR tires. Tsuchiya further gave credit to Federal's pursuit for perfection between top speed and consistent control performance. Future collaboration from both ends was also discussed. Among these include exclusive tire supplies for Tsuchiya drifting schools and Tsuchiya-Federal co-branded tires.
"For over sixty years Federal has stood for innovation, quality, performance, and excellent services. This new state-of-the-art factory will infuse new lines with our heritage, dedication, and racing DNA and will ultimately redefine motorsports tires with superior tread designs and evolving technologies," said Shu Jam Ma, Chairman of Federal Tire.
